Activation voucher
For all job seekers via the employment agency or the job center
- For people who are looking for work or seeking a job change.
- Application coaching, career counseling, orientation, re-entry into the workforce
- Apply through your caseworker — we'll help you.
- Redemption also possible via Jobcenter Digital
- Program: 8 weeks (66 teaching units), 33 sessions or 17 sessions, depending on the program
Holistic support
For people with personal or health-related support needs
- When personal, social, or health issues get in the way in addition to work
- Three phases: assessment, stabilisation and development
- Outreach coaching is possible; we come to you.
- Referral to specialist services (housing, health, addiction)
- Flexible scheduling with no rigid timetable
DFV Mentoring is officially approved for AVGS (§45 SGB III) and §16k SGB II. As an AZAV-certified and DEKRA-tested provider, we meet all quality standards. There are no costs for you.

Frequently Asked Questions
The AVGS (Activation and Placement Voucher) is a government-funded program offered by the Federal Employment Agency or the Job Center. It allows you to participate in our certified one-on-one coaching program in Berlin completely free of charge. You apply for it through your assigned employment advisor or Job Center consultant. If desired, we can also guide you through the entire application process and answer all your questions about the voucher.
Yes, with a valid AVGS voucher, the entire coaching program is 100% free for you. All costs are fully covered by the Federal Employment Agency or the Job Center. There are no hidden fees or out-of-pocket expenses for you. Our team will gladly help you apply for the voucher and gather all the necessary documents.
In a free and non-binding initial consultation, you'll get to know your personal coach. We'll take the time to discuss your current situation, your career goals, and your individual needs. The consultation lasts approximately 30 minutes and takes place at one of our five Berlin locations or, if you prefer, online. Afterward, you are completely free to decide whether you'd like to begin the coaching process.
The coaching program comprises a total of 8 intensive weeks with up to 66 lessons. You will have two personal appointments per week with your coach, each at one of our five Berlin locations. The appointments will be scheduled flexibly and individually with you to ensure they fit seamlessly into your daily routine.
We are available for you at five central locations in Berlin: Reinickendorf, Mitte, Charlottenburg, Schöneberg, and Lichtenberg. All locations are easily accessible by public transport. Our flexible scheduling allows you to seamlessly integrate coaching into your daily routine.
